keychain charms made of egg carton dough

Imagem
Hello! Some days ago I was really bored and decided to try making egg carton dough. I didn't write down the quantities used, considering that the dough came out kinda weird and different from how it was supposed to be, but I used egg cartons, glue, a little water and talcum powder (I didn't have any flour at home). I chopped the egg carton into small pieces, moistened it with a little water and kneaded it with the other ingredients until it was more or less moldable. I plan to try again in the future, with a proper recipe, but even though the dough wasn't ideal, the final product still looks cute. I made two cat Acchan keychain charms. I painted their little faces with the tip of a sewing pin; my hands shake a lot naturally, so they look a bit wobbly. I'm using the big one as a real keychain, but the other one, the little guy, is being used as a necklace pendant (I didn't know how to use him in other way, but I really wanted to carry him around with me).

The process of making a bjd custom

Imagem
Hello!  It's been some time since I started working with BJD customs, or at least trying to. They're very tricky to deal with, but really funny as well. I've already made a BJD custom of Sakurai Atsushi from Buck-Tick (I can show him here in the future, maybe), but yesterday I bought two cute doll heads and started new projects. I thought it would be fun do set down the whole process here, so here we go. This post will be updated as I will advance with the custom, so by now it will just have some photos and description of the very step of my poor attempts at doll face-ups. Day 1 First layer of the dolls face-ups. These are Mana-sama (top one)  and Imai Hisashi (bottom one) At first, I took off all of the original painting of their faces with a nail polish remover. I don't know if my remover is too week or something like that, but there's always a yellowish stain on the eyebrow's area after I remove the eyebrows and I haven't found a way of getting rid of it.

About me, I guess

Hello, stranger. I haven't choose a name for myself yet, so I'm going by Abbacchio. I'm a biology student who currently works at a lab; I like visual kei, biology, George Michael, fanfiction, a few anime and making little crafts. This website will look a bit empty for some time, since I have no idea about what to share here and how to create new pages, but I don't think it's a problem for the time being. I'm currently reading Mona Lisa Overdrive, by William Gibson. Haven't read any of the other 2 books of the trilogy yet, and maybe that will be a problem in the near future, but in my defense I didn't know it was a trilogy when I got the book. Anyway, I haven't read more than a single chapter yet, since I have a ton of uni things to do at the moment and the meds I'm taking makes me too dizzy to read anything. I'm plotting a little craft project for the near future, so if I manage to do it, I will talk about the process here. Still working on h
